The Steri Tex fabrics used in our surgical drapes are non linting and classified as having low flamability.
All of our drapes incorporate the features below which are designed to ensure that procedures are as safe and efficient as possible.
Performance Features of Steri Tex Drapes
- Performance drapes – EN 13975: All Steri Tex drapes are designed to meet both the high protection and standard protection requirments of the european norm EN 13975.
- Tube loop holders: Tube loop holders enable simple attachment of a variety of equipment including instrument cords, video and suction devices.
- Fluid Control Panel: All fenestrated drapes include absorbant panels strategically placed to ensure excellent fluid control around the operative site.
- Wound Isolation tape: An adhesive tape suitable for use with reusable drapes and steam autoclaves is applied to each drape as required. The combination of our barrier drapes and adhesive tapes offer maximum convienence and improves aseptic techniques for staff.
- Static dissipative fibres: Nega-STAT fibres prevent static build up by attracting charges and then dissipating them into a unique trilobal carbon core.
